The Perfect Airport Outfit for Your Next Adventure

Mike and I are on vacation, and packing for our journey was an adventure in and of itself.  The master bedroom looked like a clothing war zone.  I think a landmine hit my closet,  and shot out every article of clothing onto the bed and floor.  Trying to decide the perfect look for each and every day just created this mess that I didn’t know how to recover from.  It’ll still be there waiting for me when we get back because I couldn’t fit everything in one suitcase.  Through all the turmoil, the one, and only thing I had well thought out was what I was going to wear to the airport.

Traveling, whether for work or pleasure, can be exhausting.  Isn’t that the truth?  Long lines through security, flight delays, and hours on a plane can take a heavy toll on each of us.  So, being prepared by wearing the most comfortable and versatile outfit is a must.  I’ve learned over the years that being uncomfortable, like on a 10 hour flight to Europe, can be prevented.  With just a few pieces that can be layered, long airport line and in flight naps are so much more pleasurable.

I’ve laid out the perfect seven pieces.  You’ll be able run through crowds to catch that connecting flight in the a pair of these sneakers.  Carrying everything you need in a durable tote is a must, as your bag is going to get squished and/or thrown around.   As I mentioned, layering is important.  I’ve come to the conclusion that I need a light jacket and sweater everywhere I go, as I tend to get cold easily.  Lastly, is the perfect combo of a tee-shirt and jeans.  Soft supple cotton to lounge around in is everyone’s dream.

Safe, and chic, travels my friends!

xo, Maria
