About

 

Hi everyone! My name is Maria, an accountant living in sunny Florida with my husband Mike. I’m a wife, a mother to two fur babies, and a little sister to four big brothers.

I started The Classified Chic as a creative outlet; a place to document all the things I love. I’ve always had an interest in art and design, fashion being one of my passions since I was a little girl. I attribute this mostly to my mother, she is an amazing woman, who taught me to sew early on in life. Her mentorship has given me an admiration of so many things, everything from fashion to food to decorating to gardening. She is my best friend, and I love her tremendously. Most importantly, she taught me that life is about enjoying each moment because it’s a precious gift.

 

 

Another key thing to note about me is my sweet tooth. My nephew Doniven named a diet after me – The Maria Diet (otherwise known as the all Cs diet). It consists of cookies, cake, ice cream, and cheesecake. Oh, and, anything chocolate is a must! All kidding aside, I do love chocolate. You will find sweet recipes sprinkled in here and there, like this one.

 

 

I also love animals, and my two puppies hold a special of place in my heart. My two little ones are: a Miniature Schnauzer named Bailey (aka Bailey-Boo or Boo-Bear) and a Miniature Australian Shepard named Brody (aka Doodles or Captain White-Paw). So, yes, I have three men in my life; my husband, Bailey, and Brody. The three of them make me smile each and every day, from the moment I wake up to the moment I go to sleep. I am so very thankful to them, my friends, and family for all their love and support. I feel truly blessed.
