Happy Wednesday everyone! Thought I’d share some of my current favorites. Hope you enjoying shopping these pretty pieces.
Happy Friday! Can you say messy hair just don’t care? Obviously I can! I’m still recovering slowly from surgery, and had five stitches removed from the palm of my hand last week. When this look was shot I still couldn’t do simple things very well (like wash or comb my hair). Mike actually had to comb & put up my hair. I give him an A for effort!
It was also pretty tough getting dressed. So, I’ve opted for really casual, simple outfits. This eyelet shirt is one of my favorites lately. It is on clearance under $7, and is still available in all sizes (not for long)! I’ve also put away some of my larger handbags, and have stuck to this light weight Linea Pelle crossbody. I’m really obsessed with it because of how lightweight and versatile it is.
I’d love to hear about some of your casual go to looks. Please feel free to share what casual looks you’re loving.
Happy Monday everyone! I’m so excited to share this look with you!
Love, it’s the emotion that passed through me when I picked out this bejeweled sweater. The jewels add such an air of femininity that I couldn’t resist. Pairing it with a little faux leather, this bit of sparkle seems unconventional. With the right accessories, the look transforms, it just works! More and more embellished sweaters are starting to pop up every time I start to browse online stores. And, I can’t seem to get enough of them! These two pieces, faux leather leggings and jeweled sweaters, are essential to this season’s wardrobe. But, if you really want to know what my top five picks are right now I’ll share them all with you.
1. Faux Leather Leggings Yes! 2. Jeweled Sweaters Oh My!
Get ready for 3, 4, & 5!
3. A Fedora Hat 4. A Berry Colored Lip 5. A Grey Tote
Thinking of winter ? Each of these pieces are essential for the upcoming chilly weather. Grabbing a full length coat or double-breasted pea coat would complete the look. For me, I have a long way to go until the temperatures drop here in Florida. But, where ever you are…bundle up with these splendid layers.
Blouse: Express | Sweater: Ann Taylor LOFT (not available online, very similar here) | Faux Leather Leggings: Express Scuba Leggings | Hat: Express
| Shoes: Sole Society (no longer available, options here & here) | Purse: Michael Kors Grey Tote (old, options here & less expensive option here) | Sunglasses: zeroUV c/o
I know what you are thinking! Every season there are so many new trends, and even classics are spun in modern ways. Building new pieces into your wardrobe during this time of year can seem daunting. How can we balance what we want, staying ahead of the trends without compromising on style or quality? It can be a challenge. I’m always searching for new opportunities to utilize all my resources. I recently found an interesting website and app called Raise. It’s an online exchange of sorts, where people sell unused gift cards at discounted prices. It’s a safe way to save on gift cards from major retailers. Just browsing through the site, I’ve found discounted gift cards from Macy’s, TJ Maxx, and Nordstrom. Seems like a revolutionary idea!
I truly hope you enjoyed this post. I love reading all your comments, so please let me know what you think.
Have a wonderful day lovelies!
Tan Double Breasted Coat | White Collar Sweater Dress | Leopard d’Orsay Pumps | Tory Burch Purse | Statement Necklace
| Alex & Ani Bangle | Maxi Walker Coat | Sweater Dress | Caged Pumps | Leopard Clutch
I was always a bit apprehensive about the color tan (some people refer to it as tan). I’ve grown to like it over the years, and I think it has an air of refinement when styled just so. I had never owned anything with a leopard print until recently. Now, I have a great pair of pumps and a scarf. I’m in search of the perfect purse or clutch. My eye is one this one at ASOS, it’s inexpensive and has some nice detailing.
What do you think, is this a color combo you’ll try this season?
The weather has been all over the place here in Florida. Over the weekend we had cooler temperatures followed by rain. Before the rain hit on Saturday, Mike and I stopped to snap these photos before heading to the Mall. I was excited to finally grab some boots to wear! We only have a small window of time in which we can wear boots here in Florida (unless it’s rain boots). Most of the year it’s just way too hot and humid. The weather was just right, and these wedge boots were so comfortable for a day of window shopping. I chose to dress up the outfit with a lace skirt so that we could go straight to an early dinner without having to run home to change. What a beautiful and relaxing day.
Thank you for reading!
I hope everyone is having a wonderful start to their week and that today’s look inspires you. I found both the crop top and midi skirt featured above at Target. The pattern and fit of these pieces immediately caught my eye. Paired with a nude heel and black clutch, this is a perfect date night outfit. Want to wear this during the weekday for work? Transform the look and feel of this outfit by topping it off with a simple black blazer. So, whether you’re looking for work wear or weekend inspiration, hop on over to Target to see what fashionable styles you find for your next adventure.
Pink Peonies Fall Uniform – I’m obsessing over the booties that Rachel Parcell has been wearing lately on her blog. I’m searching for a similar pair, but a little more affordable. I have found a few great options, but if you have any suggestions, my eyes and ears are open!
Hello Fashion – These pointy grey booties are so elegant and refined. Can you see yourself wearing these for fall, winter, and even into the springtime?
McKenna Bleu – I can see myself in such a cozy outfit during the cooler months. McKenna does a superb job of transitioning from summer to fall by keeping the layered pieces light in color. And, the booties don’t disappoint!
Viva Luxury – What can I say about Annabelle Fleur’s look? Edgy while remaining elegant, her style never fails to be flawless. These booties stand out right away by creating a long lean leg line.
I hope you enjoyed this Style Stalker post. I’m still in search of the perfect bootie for fall and winter. And, when I find it, I’ll be sure to share it with you.
