I’m getting ready for the Fourth of the July. I’ve put together this look as one option. The blue and white cotton dress is very comfortable, but most importantly breathable. It has been sweltering hot here the last few days, and this weekend will be no different. The red sandals are a cute and festive touch. They’re good for walking around before and after viewing fireworks. What are you wearing this Fourth of July? And, if you live abroad when do you celebrate a similar national holiday?

Happy Friday everyone! I don’t know about you, but I’m starting to crave bright colors in preparation of the warmer months ahead. Winter in Florida is fading quickly. The colors of the ocean, the sky, the shining sun, and rosy sunsets are everywhere. I was always a little apprehensive about wearing bold colors in the winter time, but there isn’t rule that says you can’t. If anything, you should take inspiration from everything that surrounds you. Don’t know what to pair with some of those vivid pieces you’re thinking of? For me, the way to go is to balance your look with neutral accessories. Hope you’ll pull out some colorful pieces this weekend!

I hope everyone is enjoying their Monday so far. Today is a special day for me, and, so, I wanted to share something with you! This post, how to wear a tulle skirt and how to dress for a holiday party, is inspired by celebrations. The holidays are approaching quickly! And, if you’re like me, you have a number of festivities planned. For that special party, whether it be a work gathering or a dinner party with friends, a skirt paired with the lace blouse is the ultimate feminine ensemble. I adore it!
If you haven’t noticed by now, I love the color red. Skirts are also on the top of my list, and I am always looking for varied silhouettes. I’ve always wanted a tulle skirt, but was afraid of looking too much like a ballerina. I got over my fear and styled this look for a wonderful night out. You see, with the right color and shape, a skirt like this one can be feminine and chic.
I hope you have a wonderfully amazing day. Keep smiling!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Halloween. Stay safe and don’t eat too much candy at once.
I resisted the urge today for another Halloween post. I figured everyone has already done their shopping for the holiday and it’s time to move on. So, for today’s post I thought I’d share some beautiful dresses and accessories that I’m obsessing over. The dresses are navy and teal; two colors that I adore for the fall and winter months.
I hope you enjoyed this edition of Friday favorites. And, as always, thank you so much for reading. I hope you have a spooktacular weekend!

Today and this weekend we expect afternoon showers here in Florida. This news should pose as no surprise to anyone who lives in the area. Like clock work, the showers pour down in the early to late afternoon. So, this Friday’s favorites includes a few must have items for the wet weather. A jacket, an umbrella, and a pair of rain boots are necessities in the Spring and Summer months.
Wherever you are, I hope you stay dry! Have a fabulous Friday and enjoy the upcoming weekend!
